ASSAM TOUR ITINERARY :
Day 01 : Guwahati – Kaziranga (220 Km / 5 Hrs)
arrival at guwahati airport or railway station, meet our representative and proceed to kaziranga national park which is about 5 hours away. check-in at the hotel or resort and spend the evening at leisure or explore nearby tribal villages. overnight stay in kaziranga.
Day 02 : Kaziranga Safari
early morning, enjoy an elephant safari in the central range of kaziranga national park. return to the hotel for breakfast and later visit the kaziranga orchid park, tea garden, and local cultural village. in the afternoon, enjoy a jeep safari in the western range. overnight stay in kaziranga.
Day 03 : Kaziranga – Shillong (270 Km / 7 Hrs)
after breakfast, check out and drive towards shillong, the capital of meghalaya. en route, visit the beautiful umiam lake. upon arrival, check in to the hotel and spend the rest of the evening at leisure. overnight stay in shillong.
Day 04 : Shillong – Mawlynnong – Dawki – Shillong
after an early breakfast, head to mawlynnong – asia’s cleanest village. explore the village and living root bridge. then proceed to dawki and enjoy a boat ride on the crystal-clear umngot river. return to shillong by evening for overnight stay.
Day 05 : Shillong – Cherrapunjee (60 Km / 2 Hrs)
check out from the hotel after breakfast and drive to cherrapunjee, one of the wettest places on earth. visit seven sisters falls, nohkalikai falls, mawsmai cave, and eco park. enjoy the scenic beauty and return to hotel for overnight stay in cherrapunjee.
Day 06 : Cherrapunjee – Guwahati (150 Km / 5 Hrs)
after breakfast, check out and drive back to guwahati. en route enjoy the scenic landscapes of meghalaya. upon arrival, check in to the hotel and later in the evening visit the local markets. overnight stay in guwahati.
Day 07 : Guwahati Sightseeing – Departure
after breakfast, visit the famous kamakhya temple and other attractions like srimanta sankardev kalakshetra or assam state museum if time permits. later, transfer to guwahati airport or railway station for your onward journey with sweet memories of northeast india.
